Mama J is the mother of five adult children and "Gramommy" to three and a half beautiful grandchildren. She enjoys adventures such as swimming, tennis, hiking, backpack camping, game nights, and PE.

Marites WAlters
Secretary/Teacher's Aide (Grades 3-6)
Ms. Marites was born and raised in the Philippines and is the oldest of 6 siblings. She taught in a public elementary school a few years before she came to the US to marry and build a family here. For 12 years she stayed home to raise and home-school her children.

Ms. Marites has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, an Associate degree in Agriculture, is a Certified Nurse Aide, and a Medical Missionary. She likes to read and learn practical things. She is crafty and artistic but doesn’t have a lot of time to hone her skills. Gardening, canning, food preserving, and foraging are part of her family’s country life. She finds pleasure in creating homemade natural products and remedies using the common kitchen ingredients and wild edible plants.

For Ms. Marites, the opportunity to be part of the CCS teaching team is a great reminder that “All things work together for good to those who love God, and to those who are called according to His purpose” – Romans 8:28
